Meet the Teachers

  • Sweets by Natalya

    Natalya is fascinated by the culinary world, inspired by watching Food Network, and watching her parents bake which led her to attend culinary school and cake decorating courses.

  • Snow (ISSNOWING)

    Snow (ISSNOWING)

    Snow is an Ottawa-based illustrator and storyteller who creates gentle watercolour and digital artworks inspired by quiet, everyday moments. Her work has been featured at local markets, and she shares her creative journey with over 6,000 subscribers on YouTube.

  • Aida from Lady Arkenstone

    Aida (Lady Arkenstone)

    With over 30 years of experience in collage art, Aida masterfully blends imagery to craft evocative pieces that tell a story. In this workshop, you’ll learn to create your own unique collages and discover your personal style using multiple techniques.

  • Debbi (Debqi Art)

    Debqi is a mixed media artist who leans into her "audacity" and willingness to learn new techniques. She currently she is focused on miniature sculptures, watercolour and batik.

  • Paige (Shift to Thrift)

    Drawing on her Bachelor of Social Work and extensive community facilitation experience, Paige creates trauma-informed spaces where participants can reflect honestly and gently.

  • Charmaine (Charm'd Christmas)

  • Cody Calligraphy

    Cody has a love for thoughtful details. She creates personalised, memorable experiences through paper and ink from her home studio in Ottawa, serving couples locally and around the world.

  • Yulia (CherrishArt)

    In her more than 25 years practice as a watercolour artist, graphic and ornamental designer, Yulia put her skills and experience into teaching at Ottawa School of Art (since 2016), where she shares with students her ability to create lustful watercolours and more.

  • Meg Max

    Meg Max is a writer and artist with a certified therapeutic arts practitioner, and has trained in the Amherst Writers and Artists method. She creates warm, welcoming spaces where people feel good making art together.

  • Dante (Ares Flowers)

    Dante is a local creative and owner of Ares Flowers, an up-and-coming florist venture. He welcomes all those wanting to celebrate love- platonic, romantic, and self-focused, to join in on the Valentine's fun with his series of dried floral workshops.
