Bookings, credits and intro vendor packages are non-transferable between vendors and final sale.

We do not accept MLM vendors

Vpop Vendors: We do not accept any products mass-manufactured after 1999 - unless they are secondhand & pre-loved. 

Invited & approved vendors are not permitted to share the booth.

Next Door Market & Event Space Inc. reserves the right to jury applicants based on whether the product or service matches the market theme. If you are unsure if your business qualifies please contact us

Due to the high volume of registrations, we only contact accepted vendors via email.

PRICING

Saturday & Sunday (full weekend) - $230 + tax
Saturday ONLY - $130 + tax
Sunday ONLY - $100 + tax

PAYMENTS

Payment is due upon acceptance and invoicing, failure to send payment within 5 days of invoice will forfeit your space at this event.

No refunds will be offered for any cancellations, late vendors or no-shows.

SET UP & TEAR DOWN

Rental space/Booth size: 10 feet x 10 feet

Setup cannot interfere with customer experience and will not be tolerated during open times. This rule will be strictly enforced.

Set up

Fridays 1 pm - 7 pm 
Saturdays 8 am - 10:30 am
Sundays 8 am - 10:30 am

Tear down

Saturdays 5 pm - 7 pm
Sundays 5 pm - 7 pm


BOOTH STORAGE

Applies to full weekend vendors only.

We will be locking up the shop EVERY night to ensure the safety of your booth. Although we do recommend removing any tech, cash and expensive jewellery from your booth overnight. 


MARKETING

Graphics for social media will be provided by email.

Vendors are encouraged to market the themed markets on social media networks, family, friends as well as past and present customers.

The more we all market this event the more successful it will be!

TABLES & CHAIRS

Chairs & tables are the vendor's responsibility. These will NOT be provided.

MERCHANDISE & DISPLAYS

Vendors are responsible for the setup and teardown of their displays and keeping their rented space clean upon tear down. 

All vendors must supply their equipment. This includes but is not limited to display items, tablecloths, storage totes, tents, garment bags/racks, and packing material.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • All vendors must follow local health guidelines and regulations.

  • Posters or flyers larger than 4” x 6” for other events or vintage shops are NOT permitted to be displayed. Adding flyers to shopping bags or handing them out is acceptable. Shop banners and logos that were used on the registration form are acceptable.

  • All transactions are the responsibility of each individual vendor

  • The organizers reserve the right to inspect any and all rental spaces. If any illegal material is found, the vendor must remove it immediately. If this is not done, the vendor will be expelled from the event and will not be reimbursed for rental fees, loss of revenue or any other damages that may occur.

  • All vendors are expected to refrain from engaging in ANY abusive behaviour towards ANY person during the event, set up/tear down and on the property. The organizers reserve the right to involve police if necessary and ban/remove ANYONE who engages in abusive behaviour of ANY kind. 

  • It is mandatory that all vendors participate in the sales and retail operations of their specific areas and their goods.

  • Smoking is NOT permitted on the property and NOT permitted closer than 8 meters from a public use doorway.

  • Although we encourage everyone to get vaccinated against COVID-19 in accordance with the advice of Ottawa Public Health, proof of vaccination is not required for vendors or shoppers. 

INVENTORY & LIABILITY

Next Door Market & Event Space or any other vendor is not responsible for lost, damaged or stolen goods.

All vendors will do their best to provide a safe and secure environment for all inventory and equipment.

LEGAL

Next Door Market & Event Space hereby agrees to sub-license and deliver to you (hereafter the Vendor) the temporary use of the space, equipment and services (all preceding items hereafter termed the “Services”) identified in the application form, at the times and for the sole purpose of the event, on the terms and conditions set out herein and in the application form. The Vendor agrees to pay for the Services at the prices set out in the application form and to abide by the payment schedule herein.

The Convener agrees to exercise all reasonable care to ensure that the market will proceed uninterrupted on the dates and times specified in the Application Form and that all facilities will be provided as indicated. Next Door Market & Event Space Inc. reserves the right to modify these terms at any time without notice as it pertains to the specific location restrictions of physical or administrative limitations. 

Under no circumstances shall Next Door Market & Event Space, the Convener, its organizers, any of its agents, or volunteers be liable to the Vendor for any loss or damages of any nature whatsoever, howsoever caused (including negligence), whether direct or indirect, for loss of business, lost profits, damage to property, injury or death, or for any indirect, special, or consequential damages, even in the case that the Conveners are aware of special circumstances that might give rise thereto. The Convener’s maximum liability (and that of its organizers, agents, and volunteers) to the Vendor for any cause whatsoever shall be limited to direct damages only, not exceeding the price paid by the Vendor for the services hereunder.
